Below are pictures of the couch we want and in the 3 different colours, which one would you chose??
The couch that we will have will only be the 2 seat and chaise..
We like the look of this one...
Or this light Grey... Will this still stain like white?? I just think that with the black and white theme this might go better!!!
I love this white-ish one in person it has a silvery shine to it, but what are every ones thoughts on a white-ish couch?
Anyway progress....
Last week we had all of our cabinets installed, our bricks cleaned, garage measured up, ceaser stone measured, and our painter start, he has started the walls/roof and started staining all our timber windows/doors, i was only able to get a few pics yesterday of the painting and they aren't great quality off my iphone sorry guys... here they are...

the white-ish sofa will get dirty if you get it in material..in leather it will be easier to clean but in the long run will still get dirty easily..The first pic is more practical I think. But they are both nice colours :)
I agree with Tonia :) Although in saying that we have a white-ish leather couch in our main living area - and we have a two year old - and havent had one mark on it yet!
If fabric I would go for the first one, its a lovely neutral and will be more practical in the long run I think.
Looking good... yeah furniture picking is definitely not for those of us who find it hard to make a decision... I would go for the light grey (gooseberry) myself, but doesn't sound like your preferred option.
Funny thing is, when I first saw the pic of the microwave cavity in the kitchen I thought they had installed a door upside down... now that would be silly. 8-)
Chaise's are good for watching the footy
Tash, painting about to start and floor (tiles?) next...can you possibly wait for these before choosing couch colour?
All excellent choices. I'm partial to leather; had for years with no complaints.
I like the Gooseberry. One of the fabrics/colour you will fall in love with; go for it.
I agree with Deb leather is the way to go, easy to look after. I would steer away from white, go for something more neutral that won't show the marks.
Have you been given a completion date yet?
Thanks Everyone im still no closer to deciding :/ its definetly between the gooseberry and White tho....
Deb tilling should be put down next, but both our painting and tiles are both white-ish so i dont really think it would pay to wait.. Also the deal ends this weekend and it takes 8 weeks to come in!!
Hey Janine, no completon date yet, but i think its going to sneek up on us a lil quicker then expected, things seem to be getting done so quickly!!
It's looking great Tash. A hive of activity at your place again today :). The stained windows look gorgeous against lighter bricks. Good job!
As for the couch, I vote for the third. The grey will give you something to contrast to your black and white, plus you could add some colour if you wanted to with cushions, etc. I also like the third couch coz (from what I can see on my iPhone) it's raised on nice legs and your room will look more spacious if you can see under it.
Ooo Thanks Reinsey, the outside timber windows werent done on sunday when we were there, cant wait to see what it looks like :)
leather is for old people, go one of the others.
Decisions decisions. Sometimes I wish you could borrow them just to see they fit the image in your head!!!! Windows are looking great when we went past!
And you've got a rain chain too!!!!! Sexy facade Tash :)
Tristan and I decided on the gooseberry yesterday and should arrive approx 8 weeks time :)
Thanks Lou and Neen, we stopped by your house this afternoon for a sticky beak, your house must be nearly at completion soon, ahhh so exciting, are you guys having all flooring done through Metricon?
Thanks Reinsey, I love our pretty rain chain, once the white render is done after hand over it should stand out a little more :)
